Hello! I am April Mastroluca, the Owner and Chief Problem Solver at Synergy Nonprofit Consulting, a boutique nonprofit consulting firm founded in 2021. My passion is helping people improve their leadership skills, supporting nonprofit growth, and educating leaders about the benefits of advocacy. I've spent over 20 years in the nonprofit industry, gaining experiences in areas such as operations, board development, and training. As a former elected official in Nevada, I can offer a unique perspective to advocacy that allows me to teach nonprofit leaders how to advocate for critical issues.
In 2023, I became a Standards for Excellence licensed consultant and am equipped with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to work with nonprofits interested in adopting the Standards for Excellence: An Ethics and Accountability Code for the Nonprofit Sector. As a licensed consultant of the Standards for Excellence Institute, I utilize best practices in order to guide organizations in governance, management, policies, procedures, and legal compliance. By providing a structured approach to building capacity, accountability, and sustainability, I can assist your organization in implementing positive change and help organizations that want to pursue accreditation in the Standards for Excellence program.
