For over twenty years, I have led non-profit organizations advocating successfully for kids, families, public health, and the environment. As both an Executive Director, and Director of Communications, I developed a keen understanding of how a strengths-based strategy creates sustainability in your organization.
Leadership change can feel like a crisis - but it can also be a capacity-building opportunity. My goals are to ensure your org stays focused on the mission above all else, treat staff with compassion, and set up your next leader for success.
I have served as Interim Executive Director at organizations going through big changes - navigating executive transitions, launching a new enterprise program area, rapid growth, and quickly-changing environments.
Often those big changes create some short-term upheaval in the life of an organization. But in the big picture, advocacy for social change is a long haul.
It matters deeply to me that we have fun, treat each other with kindness, and enjoy each other’s company while make the world a better place for our kids.
