About Me and My Work
What kinds of projects, tasks, or challenges do you typically partner with nonprofits on?
From “in the trenches” leadership coaching to ongoing facilitation of your strategic planning and organization improvement process, we customize our consulting services to meet your goals. Our work includes facilitating comprehensive strategic planning for small and medium sized non-profit organizations; coaching non-profit leaders on governance best practices and board development; and engaging executive directors and board chairs in professional leadership development to enhance organization effectiveness and culture.
Why would someone choose to work with you?
Our work is always interactive and engaging, rooted in adult learning research and non-profit best practices, and specific to your context. With 30+ years in education overall and 15+ in large and small non-profit leadership, we believe in the power of strategic questioning facilitated by strong relationships. Strategic questioning provokes change. It challenges the status quo without blame or fault finding, focusing instead on solutions which are contextual, achievable, and sustainable. Yet it pulls no punches. Strategic questioning is about truth-telling and confronting bias, blind spots, and complacency.
