I support strategic program growth, government contracting, new program and product development, and building the capacity of partnership staff. I also serve in interim leadership roles.
Some examples of other work I have done as a consultant include:

-Facilitating strategic growth planning and establishing new programmatic streams for The Knowledge House
-Supporting Dyslexia Association for Black Children to codify a set of offerings for educators and parents/caregivers in order to share the organization's knowledge with a larger community.
-Serving as a strategic advisor to Tech Kids Unlimited supporting a staff reorganization to align with program goals, including rewriting of all job descriptions across the organization
-Facilitating strategic planning for One World Project in Brooklyn, that includes developing a model for bolstering the workforce pipeline of bilingual early childhood educators.
-Scaling of high impact tutoring in New York City for Great Oaks Foundation
-Working with the Lower Income Investment Fund to develop a technical assistance hub for family child care providers.
-Supporting Extreme Kids and Crew in an analysis of opportunities and funding streams to create sustainable out-of-school time programming for children with disabilities.
-Supporting outreach and contracting with New York City Schools for IP Squared, EarlyBird Education, Playworks New York/New Jersey, Family Cook Productions and PowerTools
Why would someone choose to work with you?
I am a seasoned nonprofit leader with expertise in strategic partnership and capacity building. My work for the past 25 years has centered around founding and growing Ramapo Training, the professional development arm of Ramapo for Children, into a vibrant $8 million dollar capacity building organization with over 80 staff. In this work, Lisa has led major capacity building efforts for the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development and the New York City Department of Education preparing staff to serve a wider range of young people from early childhood through high school programs. After supporting my organization through nationalization and two mergers, I am currently working as an independent program strategy consultant. I bring experience scaling and honing innovative program models in numerous contexts. I also have deep knowledge of ways to leverage public dollars to grow innovative solutions. In addition, I am a recipient of the prestigious Zella Bronfman Butler Award in recognition of my role as change agent in the field of disabilities, recognizing specifically her system-wide work to develop a citywide workforce to allow successful inclusion of children with (dis)abilities in community based after-school programs.
